The Coach House is in a sunny position, set in the grounds of a lovely garden but with private guest patio garden. Access is gained through a gate to the side of the main house where there is off street parking.
A path takes you through the garden to the gate where access to the property is made via the main double doors.
Living Area
The entire cottage has been recently decorated and features art and artefacts from Thanet’s thriving creative scene. Further into the living area is space for relaxing with a sofa-bed, coffee table, TV and DVD. The sofa is easily converted to a comfortable double sofa bed which can accommodate more guests and has storage for linen in the foot rest.
There’s a dining table and chairs for four in the dining area.
Kitchen
The kitchen is fully fitted with an electric hob, oven and extractor fan. There is an integrated fridge and freezer, a microwave, washing machine and dishwasher. You should find everything you need in the kitchen as we have made every effort for it to be fully equipped to the extent of a toast rack and champagne flutes.. but if you do find that there’s something we can always help.
Bedroom
Upstairs is a comfortable double bedroom. The bed will be made with 100% cotton bedlinen and clean linen and towels are provided weekly if you are with us for a longer stay. All duvets and pillows are non-allergy.
Ensuite Wet-room
Through the bedroom is a wet-room with basin and toilet. Towels are provided for use at the Coachhouse. The bathroom has a window overlooking the patio, an extractor fan and heater.
Private Patio garden
The patio is laid to Indian limestone with flower borders, a pear tree, an overhanging cherry tree and a bay tree to which you can help yourself to produce. There’s a weber barbecue with utensils and charcoal for one burn – more charcoal can be bought from any of the nearby food outlets.
Additional Information
The Coach House has one bedroom but we have other facilities for babies and small children on request.
